If you are interested in trying dragon boating, please contact us to learn more about our free training sessions and when the best time is to join us on the water. You will receive qualified coaching, insurance cover and the use of paddling equipment. By trialling the sport, you can see if dragon boating is for you before committing financially. Warning it can be addictive.
A Griffins member will set you up with the gear you need and introduce you to the team. After a warm-up and some basic instructions you will be seated with an experienced paddler so you can watch and learn as you paddle. Most importantly feel free to ask questions, relax and have some fun. You don't have to paddle the entire session if you get tired or if you just want to observe the other paddlers.
You can try this exciting sport on a DragonPass and paddle for free for a whole month. When you are ready, go to our Membership page to sign up.
